Sampling Strategy Design

We help you design an optimized sample collection protocol, taking into account your study objectives and constraints, ensuring you make the most out of your samples.

Field Sampling Support

We can provide you with theoretical eDNA knowledge and train you to collect your eDNA samples in full autonomy:

  • SPYGEN has partnered with Synactile to equip our clients and partners with all the necessary skills to perform sampling efficiently and optimize results.
  • Through a videoconference session accessible globally, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the technology and become an expert in eDNA sampling protocols.

Alternatively, we can assist you in locating a partner to conduct field sampling for your project.

  • The VigiDNA® network encompasses partner companies which are experts in providing environmental DNA services.
  • This network aims to bring together all partners and clients who have collaborated with SPYGEN from the start and are committed to ensuring the quality of the services provided to achieve the best results.

Sample Stewardship

We store your samples in order to make them ‘future-proof’, i.e., analyzable again in the future when they could benefit from R&D advances, e.g.:

  • An increase in the taxonomic coverage of the reference database relevant to the sampling location.
  • The development of new primers allowing to identify species from additional taxonomic groups .

Research & Development

Our teams are continuously engaged in scientific and technological monitoring to ensure we always deliver the most advanced and effective eDNA technology available.

We help you build new primers for taxonomic groups for which no primer is currently available on the market, or expand the reference database for your sampling location. Both can be provided by a research collaboration setup.
